- Principles of sciography
- Importance, use and application of sciography
- Types of sciography: orthographic, parallel projection and perspective projection sciography
- Exercises in sciography from design element to architectural drawings
- Application of sciography in geometrical and architectural drawings
- Colour Theory and its Applications (6 hours)
- Colour: colour wheel, colour scheme, properties of colour, effects of colour (physical, psychological, emotional)
- Application of colours in architectural buildings (exterior and interior)
- Composition of collage or magazine cover
- Appropriate Rendering Techniques in Buildings (6 hours)
- Floor plans including furniture layout
- Elevations
- Sections
- Site plan and master plan
- Landscape
- Shadow construction in plans and elevations
- Perspective drawing (exterior and interior)
- Architectural Rendering Development Skill in Different Mediums (8 hours)
- Rendering in architectural building: pencil rendering, pen and ink rendering, pencil colour and water colour rendering
Practicals
Forty-five hours of exercises: sciography projection of solid figures, walls, roof overhangs, colonnades, arches, steps, chimney stacks and dormer windows; sciography of a residential building set; colour wheel, colour scheme, tint and tone; application of colour in magazine cover or collage; rendering techniques on floor plans, site plans and master plans in different mediums; and delineation of a simple residence and interior and exterior perspective views with shadow construction.
