- Static performance parameters: Accuracy, repeatability, precision, threshold, sensitivity, resolution, linearity, range and span, hysteresis, dead band, drift, backlash, selection of instrument
- Dynamic response: Periodic input-harmonic type, general periodic input – non-harmonic type, transient type input and random input; compensation
