Course objective

To provide basic understanding of particulate solid characterization, storage, and handling, and to equip students with the principles of size reduction and mixing and the operation of equipment used for these processes, focusing on the working principles of solid-liquid, solid-gas, and solid-solid mechanical separation processes and the associated equipment.
