Project I
Syllabus
Under the direction of the project supervisor, each group of 2 to 4 students selects a topic related to Geomatics Engineering, including surveying, GIS, remote sensing, photogrammetry, geospatial data science, cartography, land administration, navigation systems, web GIS application or other relevant applications. In Project I students are required to complete the following works according to the category of project.

Evaluation
- Selection of project type and supervisor: proposal submitted within two weeks, mentioning objectives, scope of work and outcome
- Mid-term progress presentation (4 weeks before end of term): group presentation and viva, 20 marks
- Final presentation and report submission (last week of term): draft report reviewed before final submission, evaluated by supervisor for 30 marks
- Full marks for Project I is 50
