Survey Camp
Syllabus
- Establishment of Horizontal Control for Major Traverse (2 days)
- Reconnaissance, stations selection and pegging of closed traverse (1.5 km or more perimeter, 15-20 stations) controlled with national grid reference
- Measurement by Total Station/DGPS
- Level transfer using Auto level/DGPS
- Coordinate computation (NEZ)
- Minor Traverse and Topographic Survey (5 days)
- Link traverse (5-7 stations) controlled to major traverse
- Angle and distance measurement by Total Station/DGPS
- Level transfer and coordinate computation
- Plotting of both traverses
- Detailed topographic survey from major and minor control points: Semi built up area around 4 to 6 hectares of land using Total Station/Drone
- CAD digital data recording and plotting
- Bridge Site Survey (1.5 days)
- Detailed topographic survey of suitable bridge site area (at least 200m by 120m)
- Topographic map, L-section and X-section preparation
- Road Alignment Survey (1.5 days)
- Topographic survey of road alignment (corridor at least 650m by 30m)
- Plan, L-section and X-section with Right of Way 20m preparation
