About the program
Automobile Engineering is a four-year Bachelor of Engineering program about the design, operation and servicing of vehicles. It shares a mechanical engineering base with mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, manufacturing, fluid mechanics and theory of machines.
Vehicle-specific courses cover automobile engines, chassis, vehicle dynamics, component design, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engine combustion and pollution control, and electric and hybrid vehicles. Automobile repair and service management, entrepreneurship and an eight-week industrial attachment connect the program to the transport sector.
