Course objective

The objective is to provide architectural principles and design concepts of medium to large-scale building structures in urban, semi-urban and rural contexts, with emphasis on service-intensive, multi-storey buildings with advanced structural systems in dense urban settings, integrating spatial, structural and contextual considerations with climate responsive design and appropriate building technology.
