The objective is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of architectural styles, techniques and cultural influences in the Western world from prehistory to the Industrial Revolution, analyzing the cultural, religious and technological factors that shaped architecture and fostering critical thinking to compare historical advancements with modern architecture.
