Course objective

To provide students with a clear understanding of the mechanisms of heat and mass transfer under both steady and transient conditions, emphasizing the application of heat transfer principles in thermal design (including fins and other systems), thermal analysis and sizing of heat exchangers, and the fundamental concepts of mass transfer for practical engineering problems.
